The Teacher's Corner Resources Energy Grades K-12
my family bulletin board Allow your students the opportunity to share their "green" sides. Students create a poster promoting ways for their fellow students, and teachers, how they can do their part to save energy around their school and at home. Here are some additional ideas for this activity:

  • Create a plan that will allow you and your students to focus on a variety of energy-related topics. Once students have learned about and researched this topic further, have them create a poster focusing on that specific topic.
  • Have students design and create digital posters to post on your classroom web site, blog or wiki.
  • Have students create "location specific" posters for different areas around the school (ie: classroom, cafeteria, gym, etc.). These posters will address the specific energy-related topics specific to the area. Submitted by: Jennifer
